RML Group appointed UK/European distributor for ChassisSim

RML Group has been appointed as sole UK and European partner for ChassisSim, one of the automotive industry’s most advanced vehicle simulation platforms.

The appointment is a natural evolution of ChassisSim’s long-standing relationship with RML Group, given the latter’s use of its software across a number of projects.

These include the recent development of the GT Hypercar as well as earlier projects such as the Nio EP9 electric supercar. RML has been a ChassisSim software partner for several years, leveraging its powerful simulation tools to optimise vehicle dynamics across a wide range of cutting-edge engineering projects.

Originally developed as a motorsport simulation tool, RML Group’s expertise has seen the ChassisSim incorporated into multiple areas of the business, capable of assisting developments in road car and off-highway projects, as well as supporting racing teams with on-track set-up.

Matt Nutting, RML Group team lead chassis systems, said: “Our experience with ChassisSim over the past five years has opened up a number of avenues of development, from bespoke projects to motorsport. Incorporating ChassisSim into our GT Hypercar programme for example reduced development times by around 25 per cent.

“The software has proven itself to be a reliable and invaluable tool in accelerating project development. When ChassisSim approached RML Group to consider becoming its sole UK and European distribution partner, it felt like an obvious fit. As part of the agreement, RML Group will provide expert consultation, technical support and integration services to automotive engineers and motorsport teams looking to implement ChassisSim into their workflow. Clients will also benefit from RML’s real-world experience and advanced application knowledge of the platform.
