The latest GT Hypercar from RML Group made its global debut at Monterey Car Week 2026, showcasing the extraordinary levels of personalisation available through the company's bespoke programme. Commissioned in US specification, it features a stunning fully exposed tinted carbon fibre body with a colour-shifting finish that seamlessly transitions between red, bronze and opaque tones depending on the light.
That exquisite Martian Chromaflair colour scheme has been carried over to the interior, with the same effect applied to the doors, dashboard and centre console. For the first time, the carbon fibre shells of the Recaro seats have also been finished to match, while stitched 40th Anniversary branding complements the striking red theme. The commission is one of just ten exclusive 40th Anniversary Edition models.
The example was displayed alongside the very first GT Hypercar created, showcasing the extensive breadth of RML's design, engineering and manufacturing capabilities. Inspired by the Le Mans GT1 machines of the 1990s, it combines championship-winning motorsport expertise with high-performance design innovation, delivering exceptional performance with everyday usability.
Producing more than 900bhp with torque capped at 1,000Nm, the car delivers breathtaking performance while retaining the comfort and refinement expected of a true grand tourer. Active front and rear aerodynamics, a driver-activated Drag Reduction System (DRS), a finely tuned Inconel exhaust system and three selectable driving modes combine to deliver a driving experience that is equally at home on the open road or the circuit.
During a busy week centred around the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, RML Group joined forces with US distribution partner Graham Rahal Performance to showcase the bespoke machines. The cars were first displayed at the Porsche Monterey Classic Event, celebrating the legacy and performance of the Porsche 911 platform on which GT Hypercar is based. From there, they headed to Motorlux, the renowned luxury automotive gathering featuring a curated collection of rare automobiles and aircraft.
Paul Dickinson, CEO of RML Group, commented: "Monterey Car Week provides the perfect stage to demonstrate what makes GT Hypercar so special. Every example is tailored to the individual vision of its owner, and this latest commission showcases the extraordinary levels of personalisation that can be achieved through our bespoke programme.
"From the colour-shifting exposed carbon fibre bodywork through to the matching interior details, each element has been carefully crafted to create something unique. It is a perfect demonstration of how GT Hypercar combines race-bred performance with exceptional craftsmanship, exclusivity and everyday usability."
Throughout the week, enthusiasts had the opportunity to see the GT Hypercars across the Monterey Peninsula, taking in iconic routes including Highway 1 and 17-Mile Drive, as well as stops at Joyce Winery in Carmel Valley and The Inn at Spanish Bay, ahead of the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
