RML Group unveiled the latest commission of its iconic GT Hypercar at Supercar Fest last weekend (16-17 May), showcasing a one-of-a-kind expression of its ultimate road-going performance hypercar to enthusiasts, collectors and aficionados alike.

Held at Sywell Aerodrome, Supercar Fest is a flagship celebration of high-performance automotive theatre, giving visitors the chance to see some of the world’s most exclusive supercars and hypercars in high-speed action.

Blending unmatched performance with everyday usability, GT Hypercar exemplifies RML Group’s engineering, design and manufacturing expertise. Inspired by the Le Mans GT1 class of the 90’s, GT Hypercar is defined by its uncompromising presence, blistering performance and visceral driver engagement.

The latest commission is one of just ten special 40th Anniversary models, celebrating four decades at the forefront of global motorsport. Finished in striking RML Chromacoat Blue, the commission delivers a dramatic new interpretation of the GT Hypercar’s sculpted carbon fibre bodywork, creating an unmistakable visual impact from every angle.

Gloss visual carbon fibre features across the engine cover centre section, rear bumper, side skirts and rear wing, while Chromacoat Blue-tinted visual carbon fibre brings an eye-catching finish to the clamshell, bumper outboard sections, rear wing pylon shrouds and end plates. The powerfully colour scheme is complemented with gloss black wheels and gunmetal brake calipers.

Inside, the bold theme continues with a striking contrast interior. Orange and black leather is paired with perforated black Alcantara, while black leather with hex foam orange thread introduces a contemporary motorsport-inspired finish that matches the car’s pedigree.

Delivering more than 900hp and with torque capped at 1,000Nm, GT Hypercar sets an exceptional performance benchmark. Active front and rear aerodynamics, driver-activated Drag Reduction System (DRS), a finely tuned Inconel exhaust system and three selectable power modes combine to deliver a car that is equally as thrilling on track as it is refined on the road.

Paul Dickinson, CEO at RML Group, commented: “Supercar Fest was the perfect event to unveil the latest commission of our GT Hypercar. Combining the comfort and refinement of a true grand tourer with the power and emotion of a hypercar, it really is the ultimate GT. Rolling out an iconic commission in front of a passionate UK audience was a very special moment for the whole team.”

Throughout the weekend, guests at Supercar Fest had the opportunity to see GT Hypercar up close, with the development prototype put through its paces on track by British Touring Car Championship driver Tom Chilton, Chief Development Driver for the GT Hypercar.
